Aunt Roxane came this weekend. She brought lots of Detroit Lions paraphernalia with her. Isaac loves his new jersey and train cars! She spent lots of time with the boys, and helped Isaac interact appropriately with Andre. You can see how the two of them are engaged here.
Isaac actually gave a few gentle hugs.
Isaac absolutely loved visiting with Aunt Roxane! He went outside to playgrounds, got treats, and laughed like crazy all day long. They discovered Twenty Trucks, where they watched videos about backhoe loaders dozens of times each day. Aunt Roxane is dreaming about trucks now!
She also kept Andre engaged for hours. I got to nap and go out by myself for a bit! (Thank you!!)
Andre laughed and chatted with her and drooled on her.
Isaac especially enjoyed showing off all of his toys and playing. He told the Noah's Arc story over and over and over again at dinner. And he read books too. He followed Aunt Roxane around the house and had to be right next to her.
We are so glad that she could come for a visit and look forward to seeing her again soon!
