Pool Time

Our pool season has been amazing. I was convinced we were going to cause this at least once, but we never even had to leave to go to the bathroom (but once)! I highly recommend zero-depth entry pools for people with several pre-school children (non-swimmers). It was amazing. They were all in the same space at the same time and all perfectly content. I would have never been able to pull this off at any other pool.

[Sweet Pea hung next to me most of the time. So I have significantly more photos of her. Sorry, boys!]
I like these because it reminds me that this child actually likes me.

Finger-crossing is her signature sign. We now make that sign when referencing her.

Love this adorable swim suit!

Jacksonville, Florida

DH went on an "optional" work "retreat" a couple of weekends ago. His locale contained the famous 17th Hole, which has been replicated at Northern Bay in Wisconsin Dells. Unfortunately, it was under renovation while he was there. Here are some photos.

Another ER Trip

Saturday, August 27, 2016

It's amazing how many things cannot be handled by either the pediatrician or the urgent care. Here we are (again) at the ER for a professional opinion on the lip cut. It was wider than the width of a hair and about a half inch. She will be fine without stitches or glue. I will close my eyes while I get the mail for the next 3 months. If I don't see the bills, will they go away?

Sweet Pea Learning to Walk

Monday, August 8, 2016

[Thanks to Pop Pop and Grandma for the photo and videos.]

Sweet Pea will be 14 months tomorrow. She's been practicing walking every day. Saturday, Grandma and I went out to buy her her first pair of shoes. These ones were clunky; so we chose a shiny, silver-y pair that looked a little more girly. She's walking almost better in her new shoes than in her bare feet.
