The dentist and orthodontist have promised to keep their hands in our back pocket for the next 15 years; but we allow it for the love of our kids. This one was too embarrassed to have his picture taken under a tree because 6th grade could see him. Nevermind that he's the size of some 6th graders. The preteen stage has begun.

The Flower Fields

We saw the Carlsbad Flower Fields this year! Only photos do justice. The one recommendation I'd give is to arrive first thing.

Trying not to look enormous below... A wheel-chaired man talked to me after church last week. He urged me to exercise for myself and the baby and said he wished he could exercise. I promised to pray for him. I did not tell him that exercise makes me bleed and increases the risk of baby coming prematurely and me having massive hemorrhages. (I had more bleeding after walking a quarter mile this day. Ugh.) He meant well. Needless to say, though, not being able to exercise while pregnant, over 35, and living in a pandemic has been a real bummer. I'm hopeful things will get better once we can deliver baby safely and I'm on the road to recovery. Eleven more weeks...
