The Firstborn signs up for literally EVERY extracurricular activity known to man, a boy after my own heart. Still, we are so busy that I completely forgot a commitment I’d made to a new mother and stood her up accidentally on Friday. 😭 DH told me not to make any more commitments until October. I’m just grateful when I remember to pick up our kids. πŸ˜… 

[Me to DH: Wow. I feel like a real a**hole.

DH: Welcome to my life.

So we are all kinds of winning over here. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ͺ🏼😭]

Today’s activity: Model United Nations.

Have we mentioned he’s in the 90th%? In early January, we were the same height and weight. He now has a couple of inches and 15 lbs. on me… πŸ˜… The clock does NOT stop!







After all my losing at life, I wrote an email to my Civil Lit. professor about a quiz that had answers in conflict with the book—complete with exhibits. He corrected my grade. So we’re now back here, but still 6 weeks left of this quarter… and then one final quarter. πŸ˜…

We chose a Friday this time, which turned out to be way less crowded. It was DH's turn to take some time to himself -- a long overdue turn! Hopefully, the weight of housework and childcare falls more evenly after Labor Day when I'm *finally* finished with my certification. (Although the professional association exam is in October.
