Pediatric dentists are amazing. (Notice how they're both petite with super small hands.) We had to deal with a few between molar cavities. I was amazed at all of their gentle words and phrases like "Now we're going to brush those sugar bugs off" as I hear them firing up the drill. Amazing. How did I miss out on this as a kid?! This child was surprisingly calm:
This one has been my morning buddy. He continues to be the first one out of bed. Lately, he's been coming into my room and hanging out while the others wake up:
The boys pretend to be fat, which they think is super cool, thanks to Weird Al and DH:
I was able to take this one on a little date after his dentist appointment. We get so little one-on-one time. He was thrilled and kept saying, "Mom, I'm glad it's just me and you! Mom, I'm glad that you took me out!" I wish I could do it more.
He was thrilled to receive a huge, ORANGE tooth brush. No x-rays yet for him. So we will see if he inherited the good teeth gene. Regardless, we've renewed our teeth-brushing and flossing efforts:
