We finally have Internet at the new place! Isaac followed our tech around all day, opening doors and running in front of him saying, "Don't worry! I've got it. Don't worry! I'm coming!"

Precocious Toddler
Many of the move-in projects we've been working on are assembling furniture. Isaac really, really, really wanted to help me put together Rich's desk. I let him try a couple of steps, but lost patience quickly because of how long it took and how messy this house was. I thought when the home was reasonably clean, then I will start to teach him new things again.
That wasn't good enough for him. I stepped behind the desk after screwing in the bottom of the keyboard drawer. (Gotta love IKEA -- a ton of work but the price is right!) When I came around to the other side, I noticed that one of the corners was unscrewed and the screw and screw driver were left sitting there next to the hole where the screw belonged. Isaac was in the playroom. I think he was just showing me that he could do it. He's a fast learner and has a great memory, just like his dad.

. . . but Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser is amazing!
I tried soap, water, & a scrub brush; covering the sink in kitchen-friendly Lysol, letting it sit, and wiping it. Nothing got rid of those coffee stains except Mr. Clean!

Instead of running the Parkway Classic this year, we decided to watch it and eat doughnuts. Who wants to be in first place anyway? These people are always alone:
Meanwhile, we made some friends and had some nice conversations.
The boys had a blast.
This one yelled and clapped for the runners.
And then slept very well.

It might have snowed twice since the first day of spring, but temperatures have hardly dipped below 50 degrees in the last week. Yesterday temperatures reached 80! We are very happy about this!!
Additionally, Dad had a positive work development, which gave him the weekend off! The boys have really missed their dad.
We are spending lots of time with the boys outside. Andre is learning all about spring foliage. This time last year, he was still baking. He's very engaged and soaking in all of the scenery.
Everything is in bloom now.
Don't you just want to sit down right here?

This boy gets compliments everywhere he goes.
Some say he has amazing hair. (He does!)
Others say he has a great smile. (You be the judge.)
A few days ago an older woman said "hi" to him at the grocery store. For the first time ever, he waved back. It completely made her day. He is so obliging like that!

This chapel was nestled in the woods at the top of the hill. It was so silent and peaceful! Everyone was kind to the boys too.

Also at Mt. St. Mary's is this beautiful Shrine Grotto.
We enjoyed a nice hike to get here.
