We lodged at the Comfort Inn -- and reserved two nights in an oceanfront room. Nags Head is a funny place in that it has very few "chain" hotels. Instead there are many, huge rental homes that are prohibitively expensive and old, unclean motels. There is not much in between. We are still figuring out how to coordinate a very enjoyable vacation for all of our people. Here are a few photos:
Updated Living Room!
Saturday, May 14, 2016
Here is our latest home improvement project! We painted the ceiling, walls, and trim; updated the railing (safe distance between balusters) removed excessive curtain rods; had tons of wall repairs done (you'll never be able to tell from these photos); and added fresh curtains, blinds, and a rug; also Rich was kind enough to let me have the wires re-routed into the wall behind the TV. We spend so much time in this room! It's so nice and cheerful in there now, regardless of the weather outside!
