 A gem worth the visit! 

It’s truly amazing how “meh” teenagers can be about the most impressive sights.

“Wow. People really were much smaller back then!”

Original McDonalds

Inspired by the thought of 100% beef, $00.15 hamburgers and a complete misunderstanding of the documentary we watched, we took this adventure. “Well, this was a letdown.” The teenager said what everyone was thinking.

Uncontrollable laughter ensued upon viewing this creepy paraphernalia. “It was worth it for the clown photo,” the teenager concluded.

They didn’t sell any food. Nor was it the same building the Mcdonalds was in. It was just the same lot. 

So we drove a mile to the sketchiest McDonald’s we’ve ever patronized. “There’s a drunk guy in the bathroom,” the Eldest informed us. 

There was also a homicidal looking woman in the ladies’ bathroom. Every second we were in this city, I lost more of my will to live.

At least there was a play place.

We purged this memory by a visit to the historic Mission Inn on the way home. Photos coming soon…
