Aunt Maria helped us out while we were in Hawaii. She was organized, disciplined, and had a shockingly clean home waiting for us. She told the kids everything we tell them which they blow off. A little non-parent pressure is critical sometimes.

Spartan Run

The best thing about my current job is that it allows me a flexible, hybrid schedule where I can attend my kids' school events most of the time. I still work/bill an 8-hour day; but am able to come and go as needed throughout the day. I would truly hate to miss these events!

Any child who raised $300 could participate in the Spartan Run. I'm proud to be a family of 6 and still hit this goal for each of the 5 who are in school. Thank you for your donations!

I put this here mostly because it shows how much bigger he is than most of his classmates. Still just a young teenager, but a very big boy:

He participated much more than last year for which I was grateful. This was his last year of the Spartan Run. Eighth grade doesn't participate.
